Fosse Fires started in Cheltenham in 1987 when Malcolm started building chimneys using Isokern, a Danish manufacturer of pumice chimney systems, to build and re-line chimneys.
We opened our first showroom in Stow on the Wold in 1998 selling a variety of British and Scandinavian multifuel and woodburning stoves, supply customers all over the Cotswolds.
Throughout the 2000’s we shifted our install focus with the market, fitting many more flexible chimney liners and twinwall flues, working with homeowners, housing developers and large organisations managing listed properties. We continued to sell woodburning and multi-fuel stoves working with top brands such as Woodwarm, Contura, Nestor Martin and Burley. 2005 we became a limited company.
Our Company Story
In 2010 we moved to our current larger premises, closer to Cheltenham just outside of Winchcombe, we continued to focus primarily on the Cotswolds and Cheltenham. Over time we built this up to become the largest display of solid fuel stoves in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
In 2020 Malcolm retired and his son Russell took over the day to day running of the company.
